I have a new poem in the Spring 2016 Edition of The Stinging Fly called Remembering at a Civil Union the journal comes out in the shops on February 15th. 2016 but I think you can get it sooner on line:

I love the cover design by Fergal Condon. The Edition is to comemorate The 1916 Rising Not a rebellion please; Rising or Insurrection are fine but my father would have been greatly annoyed if you called it a rebellion. The Edition is edited by Sean O’Reilly author of “Watermark” among other novels and stories.
And an excellent poem it is. It is very laudable to use this time of anniversary to not look back too much but to look forward and consider what if anything has been learned in the intervening century. Your poem questions the meaning of aspiring for freedom. I hope the rest of the collection does the same.
